What is a Firewall?

Think of a firewall as a digital security guard standing at the entrance of your device's network. In technical terms, it is a system designed to monitor and filter incoming and outgoing network traffic based on a set of pre-defined security rules.

Kernel-Level Filtering: Because it works at the kernel level, it can monitor every single packet of data before the system even processes it.

System-Level Security: Unlike non-root apps, AFWall+ can block System Apps and Bot ware that manufacturers usually hide from you.

Zero Battery Drain: Since it uses the native Linux kernel features already running on your phone, it doesn't need an active background process to filter traffic.

How to Use It:

First, download GitHub version Afwall+

Then install and open it.

Select specific apps and games which one you allow to use with wifi or mobile data

After selecting click on three dot menu at top right corner and click on enable firewall option. And your firewall will be activated now.

For disabling firewall click on three not bar at top right corner and click on disable firewall option. And firewall will be disabled now.

Note: you can use firewall on root and non root mode. Basically root mode requires a rooted phone.
